Mosman Language and Learning Centre has been established since 1998. We are a family-friendly centre in the heart of Mosman Village, a few doors down from Mosman Post Office. We are in a lovely, quiet location behind the shops with easy access for strollers and young children.
We provide assessment and therapy for a wide range of communication, learning, developmental and behaviour difficulties in children.
At our Centre we have
- Four Speech Pathologists
- A Psychologist/Specialist Teacher
- An Occupational Therapist
Our goal is to assist your child to develop their skills. We do this by a thorough assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to tailor-make therapy sessions to suit your child’s needs.
We see children from a very early age to assist with developmental areas such as feeding, babbling, and play through to the pre-school years to help with speech sound development, receptive and expressive language development, listening and attention, play, fluency (stuttering), voice difficulties and fine and gross motor skills Then in the primary school years we assist with speech, language, literacy and numeracy, pencil grip, hand strength, writing skills and behaviour difficulties.
We are very fortunate that we have therapists with a broad range of skills as well as specialist knowledge that allows us to help your child in many areas of their communication, learning and academic development.
As a practice we encourage close contact with other allied health professionals, doctors, teachers and pre-school staff so that we can work together to provide the best outcomes for your child.
